Transformer Bracket + Stuff

EDIT: Okay so I re-worked the bracket and clip to fit the new bracket which now uses a threaded end design with nuts to lock the "clip" down to the base of the core. It works, but it isn't perfect. The nut threads print just fine because they print vertically. The bracket, however, is too thin to print vertically as it will snap when you apply enough force onto the clip via the nuts. As such, I have had to print the bracket laying down which greatly reduces the resolution of the threads because they are so small. Because of that, I have had to scale the nuts up by about 1.15 times. This might be a good print for a resin printer, but then the nuts might not actually fit the bracket anymore. If you find this to be true, let me know and I will see about providing an alternate design for that. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. I designed this basic clipping bracket for the UY1658/60 U-Shaped 236mm ferrite transformer core. It turned out quite nicely, I think. I might decide to make a couple tolerance tweaks with the edge insulators so that they aren't quite as tight and with the bracket itself where it meets the grooves along the rounded sides of the core itself. Totally functional, as is, though. I made this so that I could wind my own HV coils for an un-rectified flyback transformer. I intend to, eventually, make an insulated spool that fits over the core directly so that I don't have to fiddle with Super Corona Dope and parchment paper to keep the secondary coil from shorting to the core itself. I also made a little winding jig (so to speak) which is made to attach to a drill gun for faster winding. It isn't very elegant nor is it truly suitable for fine gauge wire like in the 0.1mm range as it is pretty impossible to keep the windings neat or from overlapping which will definitely reduce the overall effectiveness of the coil, but I'll include it anyway, just in case someone feels inspired to make something better out of it. Someday, I'll un-lazy myself and design something with an arduino and some stepper motors to make actually consistently precise coils. Not today, though. I also decided to include the transformer core mock ups that I made to design the parts around in case someone wants to print them or use them for their own designs.
