Transformer Bookstand!
thingiverse
This bookstand, designed after the Adjustable Tablet Stand by Countspatula, is crafted from printed pieces and hardware materials. Despite its simplicity, it's strong enough to hold a heavy book. To build this sturdy stand, download the "Transformer Bookstand Instructions.pdf" for detailed guidance, including mecano-like images. The required hardware materials include (8-16) M4 nuts, 12 M4 washers, and three M4 rods of either 100mm, 90mm or 80mm length. Additionally, you'll need 10 M3 nuts and 10 M3x10mm bolts. For the STL files, you can choose between using plates with specific files, or not using them at all and using individual parts like Wing_arm, Wing_border, Horn, Left_Foot, Right_Foot, base, and tail. If you use rods of 100mm or 90mm length, spacers may be needed which can be made from M4 nuts or by using the provided "Spacer for 100mm rod.stl" and "Spacer for 90mm rod.stl". However, if you use 80mm rods, no spacers are required.
