The aluminum rack that my transfer punch set came with was a subpar product: flimsy in construction and the holes failed to line up properly. I took matters into my own hands by drilling out the rivets and fabricating spacer pieces to fit snugly between the aluminum plates, thus providing improved support. Before reassembling the rack with M4 screws and nyloc nuts, I carefully aligned all of the aluminum plates and re-drilled the holes to ensure that everything was perfectly in sync. The result is a far sturdier assembly now, with all of the holes aligning flawlessly: the aluminum plates are now nicely supported.
