This is a pack of standard, off-the-shelf QUADRILATERAL transfemoral prosthetic sockets. In this pack, DOUBLE-WALLED socket equivalents are created (i.e., inner flexible thermoplastic socket and rigid outer socket with variable fenestration/windowing, reliefs, and trimlines). They are designed for EDUCATIONAL purposes only. They should not be printed for patient fitting or use. They are rendered for a LEFT transfemoral residuum. For educational or modeling purposes, the RIGHT (as mirror image) can be easily created/rendered through most 3D software capable of handling such files. The files serve as resources that aid in medical illustration/education and promote inspiration for future prosthetic socket design.
