Transfemoral (above-knee) limb loss/difference model for prosthetic component design

thingiverse

This is a comprehensive anatomy model designed for real-world application in silico design or actual 3D printing with FDM compatibility to create scale demonstrations of prosthetic components and prototypes. Sockets, suspension methods, knees, and ankle/foot components can all be effectively showcased using this model. Note: The socket elements visible in the images are not part of the original model. After printing the model in HIPS, they were added and sculpted on separately using Super Sculpey, then baked at 275F without causing any damage to the HIPS model.
