Print in flexible material for diameter 1-inch and 0.060-inch thick steel tube often used for poles on trampolines. For this project, use a 1.5mm2 cable through it; any type of cord will fit as long as it's suitable. To achieve a strong part, print many layers. Personal experience has shown that using my own TPU filament material can result in a rough surface due to excessive moisture content, as seen in the picture.
