Trammel of Archimedes Arm -- more holes
thingiverse
I printed the striking original design first, but then craved flexibility to experiment with pivots having varying spacings. Therefore, I imported the original arm into Tinkercad, dissected it so that the well-rounded-profile hole was duplicated numerous times down the arm, and exported to stl. I attempted initially with the v1 sliders plus pins, yet since I possess multiple holes and desire to be able to move freely, I'm unable to secure them in place. Thus, I might give the v2 sliders with clip-in tops a try. This will serve as a gift for one of my kids' math teachers.
