Tram - Melbourne Tram
myminifactory
I'm excited to create a Melbourne Tram using motorized bogie from the Open-Railway project. The motorized bogie is fully 3D-printable, as seen in this amazing project on Thingiverse - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2644082. As I've learned from building the AEC double decker bus before starting my hot rod project, working with these motorized boggies can be a challenge. The hardest part is often getting all the sections aligned properly. Thankfully, the parts have been split up into separate sections to make this process easier. I've made some great progress so far - I've completed the whole body of the tram and added a new roof with correct numbering on both sides. I've also created trim for the underside of the tram, which is a nice touch. There's still some work to be done, but it's coming along nicely. My next task is to add a transformer on top of the tram - can't wait to see that finished!
