Traktion Maschine 3 (Tiny Trak)
thingiverse
This is a compact RC tracked vehicle inspired by the "Tiny Trak" phenomenon. It's slightly larger than most but boasts articulated suspension for added stability! Almost all the components are 3D printed, with only the motors, electronics, and some M3x10 bolts/nuts being the exceptions. A future iteration will likely employ bearings in the bogies to reduce slop and prevent jamming when the tracks are under tension. For the electronic setup, I used two 18650 cells for power, mounted in the tray/ute section, along with continuous rotation servos. Additionally, I've uploaded parts for an N20 gear motor build, but it still needs testing. The tracks can be manufactured via silicone molding (molds included) or printed from TPU material. The modeling was done using Blender 2.8 software, and the source files are available here: https://github.com/sdfgeoff/traktion_maschine_3
