TRAK MILL BRAKE PARTS
thingiverse
We've experienced a number of issues with TRAK knee mills' drum brake actuation levers, which consistently bend, while cams excessively wear out. In response, we're going to fabricate replacement parts from high-strength, precision-heat-treated AR400 steel instead. If you own a machine like this or another Bridgeport copy, you can actually mill your own duplicate components based on these detailed part models. As an added bonus, none of the replacement parts will be suitable for 3D printing. Instructions: 1. Disassemble the entire milling head according to your user manual. 2. Create brand new components. 3. Replace worn-out or faulty original parts with newly fabricated ones. 4. Finally, your upgraded drum brake should operate smoothly without any issues!
