Trajan was a prominent member of a long-established Italian family that had settled in the region of Andalusia, specifically in the town of Italica, which is now known as Santiponce and is situated near Seville. He rose to power after being adopted by Nerva and went on to marry Plotina, who originated from the city of Nimes. This groundbreaking visual representation was created to commemorate Trajan's Decennalia celebration, marking a decade of his reign in 108 AD. This object is part of "Scan The World", a non-profit project initiated by MyMiniFactory that aims to build a comprehensive digital library of fully printable three-dimensional sculptures, artworks, and iconic landmarks from around the world.
