OS-Railway is a cutting-edge railway kit specifically engineered from scratch to be fully 3D-printable! Every component, including track, switches, locomotives, cars, and accessories, has been meticulously designed with printability in mind. Note: This is the initial version; I apologize in advance if it's not perfect. Rest assured that it works as intended - one working model was printed and assembled to ensure its functionality. The orientation of the holes remains unchanged for the boogies; however, add-ons like hopper cars designed for the longer chassis will not be compatible with this version. A 20-foot ISO container has been placed on it for visual reference; more fastening elements and accessories will be added in the future. To assemble this kit, you'll need: 8pcs ball bearings (6mm OD, 3mm ID, 2.5mm W) 4pcs wheel shafts (42mm length, 3mm thickness) 8pcs M2x8-10 (between 8 and 12mm; not critical which) 4pcs M3x10 hex 2pcs M3x10-12 to attach the bogies to the chassis 2pcs M3x10 for couplers 2pcs M1.6x5-6 for the coupler assembly Notes on printing and assembly: The chassis is designed to be printed without rafts or supports; a 0.2mm resolution with 50% - 100% infill is recommended. Note that the chassis can be printed with less infill (I used 60%), while all other parts should have 100% infill. This design was created using Fusion 360, taking into account the print bed's dimensions to ensure optimal printability.
