Trailer power connector flap
thingiverse
I messed up the trailer power connector flap on my Ford pickup, so I came up with a brand new design. I printed out both parts and cut a gasket from an old inner tube. Next, I simply glued the pieces together using CA adhesive. Then, I gave it a coat of black paint since I had printed it in PLA and didn't want the sun to damage it. If only I had used better filament, that wouldn't have been necessary. Three years later, it's still going strong - keeps the connector clean and holds the plug in place when the trailer is connected.
