This set contains all components required for the "Traders & Barbarians" expansion of The Settlers of Catan, a popular board game. For rules reference, check out the official Catan website or consult the downloadable PDF provided in the link above. The following pieces are included: **The Caravans** * 22 camels * 1 oasis landscape piece **Rivers of Catan** * Landscapes: 2 ore tiles (river sections 3-4), 2 brick tiles (river sections 3-4), 1 wool tile (river section 4), 1 swamp tile (river section 4), 1 swamp tile (river section 3) * Bridges: 12 bridges, with 3 for each player * Catan Double Token: 1 double token for use on the board **Barbarian Attack** * Castle landscape piece * Barbarians: 36 small barbarian pieces * Token-pods: 17 small pods for holding barbarian tokens * Knights: 24 knight pieces, with 6 for each player **Traders & Barbarians** * Wagons: 4 wagon pieces, one for each player * Quarry landscape piece * Castle landscape piece (same as used in Barbarian Attack) * Glassworks landscape piece * Large barbarians: 3 large barbarian pieces **The Fisherman of Catan** * Fishermen: 6 fisherman pieces (numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10) * Lake landscape piece **Catan for Two Players** * Catan-chips: 20 chips for use in the game **Coins for Different Scenarios** * Coins: 25 coins with a value of 1 * Coins: 15 coins with a value of 5 **Interlocking Parts (No Magnets Needed)** If you prefer not to use magnets, interlocking parts are available here: [link to Thingiverse] The gameplay and materials have been adjusted slightly due to the 3D design of the tiles. These changes include: * Camels can now be placed on top of roads instead of beside them. * For Barbarian Attack preparation, place token pods on all tiles and number tokens on top of them (refer to pictures). * Barbarians are now placed on token pods next to number tokens, as shown in the pictures. * Knights can now be placed on top of roads instead of beside them. * The three large barbarians from Traders & Barbarians can now be placed on top of roads instead of beside them. * Wagons must be moved from road to road, not from crossing to crossing.
