Traction for icy conditions
thingiverse
It's a bit of an odd time to be thinking about ice, but it's actually perfect timing down in the southern hemisphere. I've been experimenting with my FF Creator Pro printer using NinjaFlex filament at 70mm/s with the Flexion Extruder, and the results have been impressive. I decided to push the limits by printing on the full build plate, which was a bit of a squeeze for my size 10 shoe. A softer filament option would be great - I've noticed that the Flexion can handle materials as low as 60A durometer, so let's hope NinjaTek starts offering those soon! I picked up the chain at Home Depot for just $2.00, and it's been a game-changer for printing worthwhile and functional projects.
