The Traction Engine Model was created as part of a project carried out by the Museum of the City of Łódź in 2017, titled "Around Great Łódź." The organizer is the Museum of the City of Łódź. Honorary patronage was provided by the Mayor of the City of Łódź. Funding came from the Polish History Museum as part of the "Patriotism of Tomorrow" program. The model project was led by Justyna Pietrzykowska.
