TrackR Pixel housing for AirPods (Gen 1)
thingiverse
I spent five excruciating days searching every inch of my couch without finding my lost AirPods. Frustrated, I decided to take matters into my own hands by purchasing a cheap tracker to locate them. To create this affordable solution, I used Fusion 360, which was only the second time I'd ever designed something in CAD software. If you need to edit the design file and encounter any issues, keep in mind that it's a rough-around-the-edges project. Next, I printed the tracker using Cura with supports on top. Once it cooled down, I stuck it onto my AirPods case using double-sided tape. This tracker is specifically designed for the original AirPods, as the newer version features an LED light at the front which would likely be obstructed by this design. Feel free to customize and remix this project to suit your needs.
