TrackMaster to Wooden Track Adapter - bidirectional remix
prusaprinters

Huge props to the original creator @triton_9, I just remixed.

This remix contains a few tweaks to the design; specifically:

I created a female adapter so you can go the other direction

The wooden track adapter/prong was too long for my (IKEA) wooden tracks, so I shortened it about 3mm

I widened and reinforced the trackmaster male connector and narrowed slightly the female connector so that they fit together more snuggly.

If this one doesn't work well for you it's possible my tracks are weird and you should use the original from here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1707202

Hope this is helpful to someone!

Print Settings

Printer:

Original Prusa I3 Mk2

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

.1 to .3

Infill:

doesn't matter

Notes:

I printed this at 0.3mm layer height and it worked fine. You'll probably need supports because unfortunately the TrackMaster adapter pieces have to be elevated.

Post-Printing =============
You might need to use a razor and shave the tracks a little at an angle so they match up smoothly with your wooden tracks.

Category: Toy & Game Accessories
