This fan mount aims to cool down a hot TrackIR 4 sensor, which can become unbearable after continuous use. To prevent losing another unit out of warranty, a small laptop fan is attached to the top arm using double-sided tape. If noise is an issue, add a speed controller on the same arm with hot glue. Power the fan via a USB cable connected to the simple MOSFET design control circuit. Install the mount in the tall wedge groove at the rear leg of TrackIR for efficient cooling and longer unit life.
