Work In Progress -------------------- The main objective of this project is to create and manufacture a fully printable set of treads that can be used in future robotics projects. Each link measures 40.5mm in width; the central hub has a diameter of 40mm, excluding the teeth that mesh with the links. The Adafruit-designed hub model is engineered to fit onto the axle of a small DC gearmotor. The standard hub should be adaptable for any other motor axle. I aim to have a chassis design for the treads completed this week if I can manage to find some time. Currently, I am dealing with some problems related to torsion in my current prototype.
