Remix of Drogerdy 2.0 http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:700835 Modified to fit snugly within a compact 4-inch cubed print space. The design is streamlined by condensing it into three equal parts, each one connected via strong hot glue bonds. Strategically placed holes facilitate effortless disassembly using screws. Additionally, carefully crafted wedge-shaped slots on the body allow for secure equipment mounting using screw heads or printed standoffs. Instructions: Remix of Drogerdy 2.0 http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:700835 Cogs from downloaded files are used unmodified, and the track remains intact as well. #12 AWG solid wire is chosen for its durability and efficiency in creating precise track pins. Printing parameters ensure optimal results: Body parts are printed upside-down on the printer bed to minimize warping, utilizing pillar supports for stability. It's crucial to reinforce these supports with masking tape before they widen at the top, preventing damage. With most parts printing efficiently using a brim setting, only cogs require special handling. PLA material, 20% fill rate, and precise temperatures (195/190°C) deliver exceptional quality. Track segments, on the other hand, print at maximum fill capacity for strength and reliability. When installing the photo interrupter light gate, opt for an alternative design that attaches seamlessly to the motor's backside or the primary cog. Printing the slotted wheel in black reduces IR light interference from colored filaments like red, ensuring seamless operation.
