Two remarkable specimens of the trace fossil Rusophycus bilobatus originate from the Silurian Rose Hill Shale in Scott County, Virginia, specifically PRI 76851. These resting traces were likely left behind by active trilobites. The specimen originates from the extensive research collections at the Paleontological Research Institution in Ithaca, New York. The longest dimension of this rock measures approximately 13.5 cm. Emily Hauf created this accurate model.
