Conostichus ornatus, a dwelling trace fossil, was possibly made by a sea anemone (PRI 76854). This specimen, cut in half to reveal its internal structure, originates from the Pennsylvanian deposits of Clay County, Kentucky, and is housed within the research collections of the Paleontological Research Institution in Ithaca, New York. Measuring approximately 9.5 cm in diameter, this fossil was modeled by Emily Hauf.
