TR8x2(p2) nut 1 start
thingiverse
This is for a leadscrew with one start (one lead) and a 2mm pitch, featuring an 8mm pitch diameter. To accommodate the Prusa parts from below, modifications are made to create an antiwobble system. The entire X-axis can sit on this component by its own weight or you can utilize a screw for added stability. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Steel Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 100% Notes: Better resolution than 0.2 may yield cleaner prints, but 0.2 is still a suitable choice. Post-Printing Steps: 1. Print the leadscrew using ABS or PLA filament - both options are viable. 2. Heat up the leadscrew and screw it on firmly. Apply gentle force in an upward and downward motion to achieve a precise fit. As it cools, the component will settle into place perfectly. Over time, however, it may loosen slightly. 3. Lubrication: After the initial tightening, apply lubricant to the leadscrew. Silicone spray is highly recommended due to its effectiveness without compromising the plastic's structural integrity or chemical stability.
