TR8 M3 plastic nuts
thingiverse
I needed a nut to screw onto my TR8 nut. The original metal M3 nuts didn't fit, so I created a custom plastic design. It works extremely well. I printed it in PETG and ABS, and every type of plastic should be suitable as long as some filing may be necessary due to shrinkage. The nut requires 0.5 to 0.6 meters of filament. It's better to create the threads using an M3 tap. To achieve optimal results, print with three to four perimeters and infill at 20% or more. There are two versions available: a simple one for the TR8 without a spring and a version designed for TR8s with springs. Each of these two nuts has two variations - cutted and uncutted. If you don't want to remove the Z screw, choose the "cut" option.
