TPU Printer Damper Suspension

I built this thingamajig to dampen my printer's movement. I looked at several damper designs, but they didn't quite cut the mustard. So, I decided to utilize my TPU capabilities to create a suspension damper, similar to those nitroglycerin suspensions from days of yore. What's more, the TPU material does a fantastic job of minimizing swinging. Fail-safe operation for this contraption is to let the original feed drop all the way down to the ground floor. The shim on top adds some much-needed strength to prevent the bars from collapsing during the print process. I'm starting to design vertical openers from now on, with the goal of preventing warping in mind. I came across another design that made perfect sense: until stability is required, there's no need for a long track to pull.
