TPU/PLA USB Extension Cord Connection Securement Case
thingiverse
Needed a reliable USB 3.0 to standard USB connection securing device, which in my case is a USB 3.0 extension cable connected to a Garmin Virb X cable. Designed for printing with Ultimaker TPU 95A material, it should also work well with Nylon or flexible filament. The design consists of two parts: a bottom and a top (cover). The cover features friction grips to hold the cables securely in place. Sometimes simplicity is key. Try using a rubber band to secure your USB cords by looping it over itself on one end of the cable, ideally near the connector, not where the wire enters the connector. Twist and reverse twist the loop end around the opposite cable connector until you achieve enough tension to keep both connectors plugged together. Give this "keeping it simple" idea a like if you find it helpful, download, print, or share my design on Tinkercad. Edit the original file online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/gwIADP4slaC
