As I scoured for a versatile print, I was drawn to a multi-purpose strap that could be effortlessly printed in TPU (Ninjaflex) for cable management and organizational tasks. I stumbled upon this file: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2452682 - a recent remix and the original version both boasted errors, including multiple un-joined bodies and non-manifold faces, which left my slicer dissatisfied and me equally displeased. To create a reliable and robust strap, I turned to meshlab and freeCAD, leveraging these tools to craft a revised design that addressed the shortcomings of its predecessors. By lengthening the nub, adding a chamfer on the underside, and extending the strap as one cohesive piece, I achieved a remarkably firm holding strap that printed flawlessly.
