TPU Extruder mod for Kossel printer
thingiverse
NO MORE jamming to print TPU! This is a modification to fix jamming issues on Anycubic Kossel printers using TPU filament. If anyone tries printing with TPU, they'll know exactly what I'm talking about. This mod may also work on other Delta-type printers after some tweaks to my design. Assembly is simple - just look at the picture and you'll be all set! Cut a 1-inch long Teflon tube, insert it into the triangle shape as shown in the picture, reassemble everything, and you should be good to go! This mod still allows printing with 1.75 filaments. The PC4-M6 tube fitting hole might be slightly too large, but it's still okay to screw it in place. If there are requests for a larger hole, I can accommodate that. So far, I've tested over 50+ hours of print time without any jamming issues, which suggests the problem is completely fixed. My TPU print settings on S3D are: * Nozzle diameter: 0.6 * Extrusion multiplier: 1.00 * Extrusion width: 0.45 * Reaction enabled with default settings * Layer height: 0.2 * Printing speed: 40 mm/s * Outline underspeed: 40% * Solid infill underspeed: 40% * Outline overlap: 25% I'm still experimenting with different settings, so feel free to share your own settings if you have better ones!
