TPU double tag
thingiverse
2 tags folded over & connected to each other. the center strap forms a loop. i have been using these to label SD cards & USB drives for almost 2 years now. i originally made them with Tinkercad. i finally decided to make an openSCAD file and share it. you will need to experiment to find what "center strap" length you need. a length of 16 will wrap my SD Card holders https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3105194. a length of 16 will wrap around a 3.5mm wire with a little to spare, but it's difficult to get on a 4mm wire. you will need small needlenose pliers or tweezers to help put the connectors in to connect the 2 tags. the base is 1.0mm thick. the text and border are an additional 1.0mm. to change text color, swap colors at Z1.2 after printing the Z1.0 layer. or you can print a single color and use a sharpie pen to color the letters. print in TPU only. It will not work in PLA .2mm layers .4mm line width. you can use .3mm line width for smaller fonts .SCAD file for the double tag .STL file for the connectors (4 at a time). i included the option to have up to 4 lines of text, but you have to manually adjust the extra line positions. also try my TPU chain tags https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4860271 download OpenSCAD here http://openscad.org/index.html ------------------------- UPDATE 5-18-21 - files replaced - now you can adjust the center strap width
