TPU Dampers for Creality - Ender 3/5

Hi Everyone, I'm fed up with the constant noises and vibrations coming from my printer's table, and after figuring out one of the main reasons behind the poor quality of my prints is the ineffectiveness of the original dampers (feet, silentblocks...), I've decided to create a set of improved dampers that allow the printer to move freely in all directions, effectively absorbing the inertias generated by the carriage. To absorb these inertias, the new dampers need to have 3D flexible movement (XYZ). Most designs I've seen work well in Z but struggle with XY or vice versa. The feet dampers that came with my Ender 5 are sturdy, but they do nothing for this issue. This likely applies to all Enders and CRs. This new model is essentially a sock designed to fit over the original feet of the Ender and is optimized for TPU printing. It works wonderfully. The design maintains its shape during movements thanks to its round shape without any weak points, and also in X and Y because it fits snugly around the original feet, allowing them to move freely inside. To work effectively absorbing inertias and shocks, precise printing settings are crucial. I aim for the minimum infill and wall thickness possible while still bearing the weight of the printer. The key to this model is finding the perfect balance between strength and flexibility when printing with TPU. You know your filament best, but in my case, I found the ideal compromise: - Nozzle temperature: 0.6 - Layer height: 0.3 - Wall thickness: Only one line - Top/bottom layer: 0.6 - Infill percentage: 8% My initial attempts with a higher wall and top/bottom setting and 12% infill resulted in a sturdy piece, but it was too rigid for shock resistance. After tweaking the settings, I achieved a great balance between strength and flexibility, although there are still a few layers that could be improved upon.
