TPU Bowstring for Adderini Crossbow Pistol

It's an awesome project that you can find here :</p><p><a href="https://legolini.com/adderini_pistol.php">https://legolini.com/adderini_pistol.php</a></p><p>It requires to manufacture a bowstring for in between the elastic bands, and there is a great set of tools and tutorial to do it.</p><p>But…</p><p>Being on a tight budget and not liking to wait for other parts to arrive, I just designed something similar to it, to be printed in TPU.</p><p> </p><p>I printed it with perimeters only, no infil for solidity, and in Filamentum 98A FlexFill TPU. Maybe it will work with other TPU or ninjaflex, try and tell me ! </p><p> </p><p>I just monted it yeasterday so I don't know azbout the durability, but it shoots perfect and powerful !</p><p> </p><p>Edit : the duyrabilty is not so great, ( i would say maybe 50 or 60 shots? I did not count) it tends to break in the middle, i'm gonna try on a softer tpu and I'll let you know how it goes. </p>
