The innovative Belt Design by Warmarine759 showcases the potential of combining 3D printed parts with a string or wire to create a functional belt. Kudos to Warmarine for successfully figuring out how to make 3D printed belts easily and effectively. The links of this belt are based on Warmarines design, enlarged 200% in the Y direction. Printing on glass, I chose to display the shiny side of the print to add an extra touch. You can access this belt design at https://www.thingiverse.com/download:5087540. The belt buckle and endcap are new creations. The belt buckle features a central bump designed to friction-lock the belt in place. For added security, the belt segments are engineered to ratchet into the buckle, firmly securing it. Warmarine utilized a picture-hanging wire for this design. I opted for necklace wire instead, as it was easier to thread through. My buckle and endcap have built-in recesses for securely holding the wires in place. To bring this project to life, I chose to print with Ziro TPU, which I highly recommend due to its excellent value. I printed at 40mm per second using a Rostock Max V2 with a direct drive Bondtech extruder and powered by Duet.
