TP Shelf
thingiverse
I purchased a toilet paper holder with a built-in shelf and installed it in one of our bathrooms. My wife didn't like the new design because I hadn't sanded down the drywall and repainted after removing the old holder and before installing the new one. So, I decided to create a shelf that attaches directly to our existing toilet paper holders. This project has gone through several iterations with tweaks to its design and dimensions. Now, I can confidently declare success! To assemble this shelf, you will need to print two legs. For one of these legs, you'll need to mirror the leg for the opposite side. Rotate the legs so that they lie flat against a surface with the open clip facing upwards. There are two top designs available: one with square corners (v1) and another with rounded corners (v2). Print whichever one you prefer. Rotate the top so that the cutouts face upwards, while the flat surface faces downwards. When attaching the legs to the TP holder, be cautious not to break the front/thin clip. With careful handling, they can be mounted without any issues. There are holes on the bottom of the shelf that line up with the tops of the legs. Press fit them together. I've uploaded an installation video for your reference in case you encounter any difficulties - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8IlGfLjcss
