TP-Link M7350 Sun Cover
thingiverse
The TP-Link 4G Wifi access point boasts a sleek black design. However, its tendency to overheat in a vehicle poses a significant issue. To mitigate this problem, a sun cover was designed specifically for the device, ensuring it remains operational even when exposed to extreme temperatures. For obvious reasons, minimizing battery heat is crucial. This design should be printed in white with ABS material. While PLA could also work, consider the potential impact of elevated interior car temperatures on its durability. A note on the model's dimensions: due to an oversight where the hull was not subtracted from the lower side, the initial prototype measured 1.5mm too large. Fortunately, this error has been rectified, and the design now fits perfectly. Unfortunately, a print attempt has yet to be made.
