tp-link Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Light Switch Cover Plate
thingiverse
This is the mounting plate for the Kasa Smart Lightswitch cover that I designed to replace the one my electrician mistakenly discarded. The new plate should fit all three versions - 2-way, dimmer, and 3-way - as they appear identical to mine. I recommend using PETG or ABS filament for this project, but since PLA was my only option in white, it worked just fine. Be prepared for a tight fit if your printer tends to smush out the first layer; you may need to use some sandpaper to remove excess material - I had to shave off 0.3mm from the end myself. To print this mounting plate, I used 100% infill with no raft and no supports, as my bed adhesion is excellent. The countersunk screw holes are facing down, while the grooves on the ends are pointing up in the Z-axis. My print time came out to be around 45 minutes.
