TP holder w/ Resistance

thingiverse

My family and I have been laid low by illness this week. We use Charmin Ultra Soft as our facial tissue, so there are toilet paper rolls scattered all over the house. I designed this project to hold a roll of TP in place using two large command strips, allowing us to mount it securely to the wall. The size is just right for slow pulling, but fast pulling causes the TP to break, making it easy to grab with one hand. I'm not sure how well it will fit other types of toilet paper rolls, but it works perfectly with Charmin. Update I printed another version of this design in low resolution and noticed a gap in the print. This issue has been addressed in the new STL file, which replaces the old one. Update My toddler got hold of one of these holders and ripped it off the wall, pulling some plaster loose (yeah!). So, I created a screw-in version of this design. I made these to be used with TOGGLER self-screwing anchors, which can hold up to 80 pounds each and are highly recommended. I also designed a template for marking and spacing the screw holes. http://www.toggler.com/products/snapskru/overview.php Print Settings Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Printrbot Simple Metal Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 25% Notes: Printed at 25% infill, 0.2mm resolution, and 90mm/s
