Toys for boys. Old boys use computers, small boys need other toys First thing of outfitting - nice free fall lifeboat with seats from extruded letter L. Intended for rubber band propeller. For free fall release make small crank from paperclip and put through hole in upper horizontal beam. Small pin in bottom aft of the boat should be hooked on this crank- release by rotating. Traverse should be fitted with 2 short lines with paperclip hook for lifeboat retrieval. Hoisting wire should be tied on arm, pass through both traverse sheaves, then back to arm and through eyes goes to the winch with crank. Arm can be moved with gear on opposite side but You have to glue some stoppers in out position. Boat should be fitted with 2 pairs of double slings for retrieval. See sketch on the picture. There is also non geared version of davit.
