Toys for boys. Old boys use computers, small boys need other toys. Here are add-ons for push tug with thruster, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5522126 -Kort nozzle, based on Wikipedia article Ducted propeller in accelerating and decelerating version. Foil based on NACA 4415 (more informations in articles Foil (fluid mechanics) and NACA airfoil). Tug's bollard pull can increase up to 30% with ducts installed. -Bow thruster based on Wikipedia article Rim-driven thruster in 2 versions: .1st is replica to glue in present shell. I made it double. Print 2xrotor half, glue and secure in thruster tunnel by 2 glued rings. .2nd is a challenge to make it workable. Rotor is secured in thruster tunnel by 2 rings and rotated by wheel located in watertight chamber.Wheel is driven on the side by motor located in the shell with rubber ended shaft. No guarantee, that it will work.In this version thruster tunnel is moved back, with thin walls + chamber, so You have to print new shell (added supports for Kort ducts & rudders). You can find retractable version of thruster, with code, on https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5597800 -Rudder in ordinary and balanced version with tilers supports - check attached pictures how to put it together. Code for pusher, modified shell, nozzles,thruster and rudder included.
