Toys for boys. Old boys use computers, small boys need other toys. From few years I use WiFi camera+phone to read ship's draught marks. It is faster and safer than climbing 10-15m by monkey ladder. To communicate with camera I have to keep phone overboard, so I always afraid, that I can drown it. Any phone holder didn't fit my needs - fast clamping to the rail, safe storage of phone during transport in different positions. Finally I decided to make my own. Bike grip is clamped by tightening lock (this is most vulnerable place, probably metal screw will be needed). For longer use can be secured by additional pin. Phone is kept in simple box by arms, bottom insert and head locking plate. These elements are tigtened on the phone by 2 rubber bands.
