ToyREP Leg extension

ToyREP Leg extension

Hello again. While building the ToyREP, I had no idea using fans for motors would be necessary. Then I printed the Y upgrade with a fan mounted below the motor. Immediately after installation, I noticed that there is no space beneath the fan so it doesn't have access to any air. Also, one leg was higher than the other one, causing the printer to wobble. So this little thing makes your ToyREP taller by extending the legs and allows the fan to access the air. Before applying it, the Y motor got pretty hot, but after application, it's just as warm as the X motor - not much at all. It now also stands firmly. Printed at 0.2 layer height and 0.4mm nozzle. I planned on drilling through the whole leg, but it fits perfectly so there's no need to. This is also necessary if you want to screw the whole printer to a wood plate. If you drill through the original leg, you'd stop on the M8 rod. I don't think many will need this, but it was really helpful for me. Best regards, Tedro
