ToyREP Leg Extender

ToyREP Leg Extender

Here are some leg extenders for your ToyREP 3D printer designed by Thorgal. These can help increase clearance for the electronics or even make room for an LCD display/smart controller and RAMPS. If you still have to build your 3D printer, this upgrade replaces original legs and ensures they sit low on the ground. Find them here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:945156 This was made especially for those people like me upgrading to a smart controller or having connectors sticking out from the RAMPS board that refuse to rebuild their 3D printer. They fit just right but how much more space is gained is not confirmed. There's enough room now, however, to get a smart adapter connected to the RAMPS with some clearance left. Designed with Solidworks 2012 student edition software. Here are print settings I recommend: * Rafts: Doesn't matter. * Supports: No preference here either. * Resolution: High resolution is preferred but it's up to you. * Infill percentage: At least 10%. Note: Since accuracy isn't necessary, don't worry and just go with fast print settings.
