This is my first project that actually worked out. I designed a simple setup for mounting a ham radio in the center console of my '08 Toyota Tundra. The ham radio has a detachable face plate that can be installed somewhere within two meters of its main housing. Originally, I planned to attach the face plate above the rearview mirror, but I may make some adjustments later on. This mount requires gluing the face plate to the existing console area and using three bolts and nuts for securing it in place. The dimensions provided are tailored for a "TYT TH-9800 Quad Band 50W Cross-Band" Mobile Car Ham Radio or similar device. It's angled to offer the operator an improved viewing angle, while also keeping one of the cigarette plugs accessible.
