Toyota Truck Dash Dimmer Knob for Splined Shaft
prusaprinters

This is a replacement dash lights dimmer knob for 1st generation Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner, T100, and many other vehicles. Specifically, this dimmer knob is adapted to a modern ¼" splined shaft potentiometer, as found in electronic dimmer controls (installed for LED lighting). The original Toyota square-drive knob does not fit a potentiometer shaft.

There is a version with the ‘logo’ (a light bulb with level arc) and a plain one that can be used on any ¼" splined shaft. The Blender source files are included so that different variants can be created.

I printed this on my Anycubic Vyper in cheap black ABS at normal settings, with support but no adhesion. The supports should only appear under the knob. After printing, I filled in the logo by rubbing the surface with a white crayon. Alternatively, white paint could be used and wiped off the face, leaving it in the logo pattern. Smoothing would make it look very much like the OEM knob (but I am too lazy).

Feel free to remix, modify, improve, and enjoy!
