Edit: I have had really spotty results getting this to seal so I need to change it to "work in progress". Might be simpler and more reliable to buy the commercial tool. If anyone comes up with a sealing method that is bulletproof with this please post a comment. This thing is an adapter to enable you to connect up threaded Euro 45mm brake reservoir pressure bleeder cap to your Toyota Tacoma (and perhaps some other models) instead of having to use a mega cumbersome "universal" adapter. Use with a typical air bleeder hand pump, converted garden sprayer pump, or connect up to your shop air compressor... in which case make sure to run it just enough to get to 10 to 15 psi or so then turn it off and use the air saved in the tank. The way I use this is as an air source only, not to connect up to a tank of brake fluid. IOW, fill the truck's reservoir to the very top, pressurize it with this setup, bleed the brakes until the fluid gets low in the reservoir, then stop to refill it. Repeat until done. You can also print a cap and barb here... or use the commercially available one which actually works better because it has a swivel built into the fitting that makes installing and removing the cap easier. If you print the cap and barb they will have to be glued together. I couldn't get a perfect seal using the printed TPU gasket so it would be better to make one out of neoprene. Pro tip: use Oetiker clamps and medical quick connect fitting on your air lines. This is not associated with Motive products in any way. That is just the bleeder I happen to have. Edit: made a minor change 4/12 to make the slots in the adapter shorter to make it easier for the neoprene rubber to cover them entirely.
