Hey guys! I took advantage of the downtime last year when my motor went kaput and had a blast designing and printing custom GT centre caps for my wheels! A buddy of mine was skeptical at first, thinking they'd melt under the heat, but he doesn't know the first thing about 3D printing or materials - and nine months later, these babies are still going strong! The secret to their durability? It's all thanks to PLA - it withstood brake dust, heat, and the elements without flinching. I even printed some out in glow-in-the-dark filament just for kicks - but never actually got around to installing them. If you're feeling adventurous, grab my SketchUp file and tweak the design to fit your specific centre cap needs! Don't forget to secure them with a decent RTV silicon or similar.
