Toyota Prius Wheel Center Cap - Power Symbol
thingiverse
This item was created in Tinkercad. For those who have a Generation III Prius (2010-present), you can remove the unsightly wheel covers to reveal the alloy wheels underneath, but be aware that there will be a hole in the center of each wheel that requires a decorative cap. This cap corresponds to Toyota part number 42603-52110 (pictured) and features the iconic power symbol embossed on top, similar to the power button found in your Prius. Additional photos can be viewed here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/theschlem/sets/72157632696775253/. The cap also fits Yaris and Vios models. You can find this cap and other designs for Gen II and III Priuses through Shapeways at http://www.shapeways.com/shops/bitforge?section=Prius+Wheel+Center+Caps&s=0. It is uncertain how these parts will print on an extruder-type machine, as they may require support during the printing process. Further experimentation is necessary. Printing and using this part is done at your own risk. To paint ABS, lightly sand the surface with fine grit sandpaper and apply a few light coats of your preferred body paint; no primer is required.
