This is a quickie project I did to make a more slimmed-down version of my car key. It's not perfect but wasn't too difficult to sand down to get to fit around the key-fob PCB and battery. The design does not allow for interaction with the push-buttons or integration of the mechanical key that slides into the side of the OEM fob.I 3D printed my parts on an AnyCubic Photon with black resin. The OEM fob's battery door, screws, and threaded inserts are reused. To make it more or less water-tight I spread CA glue over all the seams - even the battery door. Replacing the battery will require those joints to be broken and re-glued.
