I whipped up this quick tool in CAD based on precise measurements of a replacement ignition cylinder lock to simplify the re-installation process of the ignition-lock cam actuator. This makes replacing the lock cylinder significantly easier and allows you to thoroughly clean and reinstall everything from scratch. Insert your key into one end and the ignition actuator cam into the other. Rotate it until the actuator cams are in their correct positions, then install your new lock cylinder.
