The Toyota Hilux is a rugged old pickup truck. Modeled with precision in 3D Max, its textured surface was brought to life using Substance Painter. The texture maps are an impressive 4096x4096 pixels strong: Four vibrant colors shine through on the diffuse map. Glossiness gives the truck's metal finish a showroom sheen. Reflections dance across the surface, like ripples on a pond. Height maps add depth and dimension to the vehicle's design. IOR (Index of Refraction) simulations give the glass a realistic sparkle. Normal maps enhance the texture's intricate details.
